Peter Cook (Archigram)

The exhibition at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Montpellier, Limites à l’infini [Infinite limits], sets out to question the forms of ‘distance’ that persist in the 21st century.
In doing this, the exhibition examines the critical relationship between near and far, and the constant dialogue between microcosm and macrocosm. Three concepts—moment, border, infinite—forge a path through the collection of the Frac Centre-Val de Loire, in which the visionary language of architects is entangled with the dreamlike creations of artists. Yona Friedman, Archigram, Dogma, Charles Simonds, Archizoom, Angela Hareiter, and more contribute to these new models of eternal communal existence.
