The Biennale d’Architecture d’Orléans is an intersecting vision from 71 contemporary architects and artists working on building a shared world, a world of proximities. The intent is to question these architects, to ask them to tell us how they envision walking in our dreams and fears.

Visit the Biennale with challenges! As in a role play, put yourself in the shoes of one character and walk in the dream of another.

Discover the 2A+P/A's Pavilion! For the Biennale, the agency has interpreted a drawing by the architect Ettore Sottsass Monumental Architecture and created a pavilion which is a reactivation of the traditional form of the cabinet of curiosity.

“Home is Past” is an architectural gesture, an anti- monument, a ruin, built by a simple act of “pilling” a module, a structural material, which is in this gesture automatically striped of its original purpose, only to create other meanings, scales, and know-hows.

Come and discover a selection of drawings from the Frac Centre-Val de Loire collection at the Anna Marly Mediatheque! With the Bureau des cadres mobils, the Frac offers the opportunity to the residents to appropriate the works in their collection and transform their living or working space into an exhibition space.
